A word from Amir, May 14, 2018.

Today, May 14, is the date of the birth of Israel according to the non-Jewish calendar. For Israelis, our Independence Day is celebrated according to the Jewish calendar, thus the celebrations aren’t related to this date. Yet for the Palestinians, this day is marked as their disaster (“Nakba” in Arabic).

Hamas decided today to promise young men and children that if they run towards the border and allow the real terrorists to blend with them so they can kill Israeli soldiers and civilians, they will get to heaven.

Since the morning hours more than 40,000 men, women and children are trying to cross the border or plant bombs along the border fence. The death toll is rising as Israel is preventing infiltration into its territory.

Hamas is pleased with a high death toll. That’s their way to mark a victory. Our late prime minister Golda Meir once said, “We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.”

Will there be Peace in the Middle East?

Amir’s special update from Jerusalem. With the United States withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, Israel’s strikes on Iranian targets to stop their entrenchment in Syria, the soon relocation of the US Embassy to Jerusalem that rages the Palestinians- will there be peace in the Middle East? If so, when? How? And for how long? What does the Bible say about it?
